Super Simple, Super Speedy, Turkey Day Treat

I first found this sweet little treat for Thanksgiving in Woman's Day magazine back in November 2004 and have been making them every year since! They're really a snap to make! These would be a good project to do with children:)
Celeste Cruse's Pilgim Hat Cookies
Makes 16
16 chocolate wafer cookies(such as Nabisco Famous Chocolate Wafers)
1 tube orange frosting with piping tips(I had some orange royal icing on hand and used wilton tip #3)
16 small peanut butter cups

1. Place cookies on work surface; squeeze a dime-size dot of frosting in center of each.
2. Unwrap and invert peanut butter cups on frosting, pressing down gently.
3. Using the round piping tip, pipe a "hat band" with frosting around peanut butter cup and a square "buckle." Let frosting set before storing. (Can be made up to 3 days in ahead. Store airtight at room temperature.)

Have Fun, and if I don't post before then(but I probably will), HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

I'm thankful for all of my fellow foodie friends! (Say that five times fast!)
