Easy Valentine Cookies

I'm still trying to use up some sweets that I bought intending to use for Christmas.  These store-bought white fudge covered Oreo cookies were simple to convert to Valentine's Day. Even after Christmas, I was going to decorate them with snowflakes or snowmen, but I love Valentine's Day, and I started thinking about it on January 2nd:)  I have a soft spot for pink, red, and hearts.

The cookies were very easy to embellish, and the white fudge looks so pretty. I simply tinted some royal icing red and pink and decorated the tops of the dozen cookies that came in the package.  I'm sure it would be easy enough to dip regular Oreo cookies (or any sandwich cookie) in white chocolate and decorate them as you see fit. They could even be made into lollipop cookies:)  Whatever you do, have fun!

Watch for another CUTE, easy, no-bake treat on Friday!

  3. Those cookies look so cute. Somehow they remind me of those little treats in Alice in Wonderland that always said things like "Eat Me." Your cookies may not have those same words, but they certainly imply the same message.

  4. These are so cute! We can't get this type of oreos in New Zealand but maybe a white chocolate mallowpuff will do the trick?

  11. Great idea. I grabbed the Wilton Christmas Sprinkles jar(with the dividers and different types of red or green sprinkles). I have plans to use the reds for Valentines and the Greens to celebrate my heritage for St. Patrick's Day :)

  20. These would be perfect for my kids to make for their class for Valentine's...or more accurately, perfect for me to make the night before - because I like the stress of waiting 'till the last minute:)
