Nature's Eye Candy

I am in a time crunch trying to pack for a weekend camping trip to Big Sur.  I have some cookies to post, but it isn't going to happen until Sunday evening, so I thought I'd leave you with another kind of eye candy to tide(no pun intended:)) you over until then.
This gorgeous sunset(the day after Christmas) was the perfect way to end our family hike upon reaching our destination. What beauty right in our own "backyard" (Avila Beach/Port San Luis).
Such a spectacular sign off!  It was wonderful to share it with some of our children and grandchildren.
I hope you enjoy it as much as we did:)

See you Sunday, and have a great weekend! XO Sue

  3. Wow, beautiful. When we get spectacular sunsets like that here it's because the smog is so terrible. I can't imagine camping this time of year. We'd freeze to death. Hope you have a great time.
