My freezer had a variety of plain sugar cookies just waiting to be transformed! I had fun with the itty-bitty guys:)
The little Cookie Monsters (munchkins) in my family seemed to get a kick out of these cute cookies. Make a batch for your own Cookie Monsters and I'm sure they'll be happy you did!
The cookies are made with my favorite tried and true sugar cookie recipe and royal icing.
For the big guys:
I used Wilton's sky blue food coloring gel for the "hair" (with a Wilton #233 tip)
Wilton's vanilla candy melts for the eyes,
Regular sized chocolate m&m's for the eye balls,
and broken up chocolate chip cookies.
For the little guys:
I used regular sized white m&m's and mini brown m&m's for the eyes.
HAVE FUN!
